Invasive Weed Control for Industrial Sites
Industrial areas are as vulnerable to invasive species as much as any other amenity area. These species are a problem due to their rapid growth and ability to out compete native species so they present an obvious problem on industrial sites.
They are fast growing or noxious species which can impede maintenance, damage infrastructure and cause complaints from neighbours. These species are not easy to control and can not be treated as part of a general maintenance programme. They need to be targeted specifically with their own weed control programme.
Weeds that typically fall into this category are:
- Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica)
- Giant Hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum)
- Buddleia (Buddleija davidii)
- Common Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea)
- Horsetail (Equisetum arvense)
- Himalayan Balsam (Impatiens glandulifera)
LanGuard VM have the experience and expertise to deal with these problematic species effectively.
