Highway Landscape

LanGuard VM have diversified their services to include highway landscape maintenance, as part of a strategy to offer a more comprehensive range of services to our existing clients. We have invested in additional training and certification of our staff, so that they are capable of providing highway landscape maintenance to our clients, in situations that they are already competent and familiar within.

As with other LanGuard VM services our investment in training and raising the competence for our operators has been mirrored with investment in tools and equipment from chainsaws and brushcutters to chippers and hand tools.

This broadens the services we are able to offer and because the timing of these new services are complementary to our existing services, enables LanGuard VM to spread the work profile throughout the year. This has a number of crucial advantages in enabling us to become even more cost effective and allows us to hold on to experienced and highly trained staff within our full time workforce, thus allowing us to hold on to experienced staff. It also helps in maintaining our already excellent Quality & Environmental credentials and our National Highway Sector Scheme 18 – Landscape & Ecology accreditation.

LanGuard VM are now able to provide the following services:

Highway Landscape Maintenance, including scrub clearance & brushcutting, tree & hedge planting, grass seeding & turfing, plus general grounds maintenance by staff with appropriate NPTC/Lantra Qualifications.

Additionally LanGuard VM can provide a Wildflower planting, Habitat creation and Reed bed planting  as part of our highway landscape maintenance services.
