New Services – Tree Works & Landscape Maintenance

As part of the evolution of LanGuard VM, we have diversified our services to include Tree Works and Landscape Maintenance within our current client base. We have a large, highly trained workforce, who are familiar with working in public & safety critical environments. LanGuard VM have invested in additional training and certification of our staff, so that they are capable of providing Tree Works and Landscape Maintenance to our clients, in situations that they are already competent and familiar within. As with other LanGuard VM services our investment in training and raising the competence for our operators has been mirrored with investment in tools and equipment from chainsaws and brushcutters to chippers and lighting. This broadens the services we are able to offer and because the timing of these new services are complementary to our existing services, enables LanGuard VM to spread the work profile throughout the year. This has a number of crucial advantages in enabling us to become even more cost effective and allows us to hold on to experienced and highly trained staff within our full time workforce, thus maintaining our already excellent Quality & Environmental credentials.

LanGuard VM are now able to provide the following services:

Tree Works, including tree removal, crown modification, sight line & utility clearance, all to BS3998:2010 Tree Work recommendations by staff with appropriate NPTC/Lantra Qualifications and in line with the appropriate legislation (LOLER 1998 & PUWER 1998 regulations).

Landscape Maintenance, including scrub clearance & brushcutting, tree & hedge planting, grass seed & turfing plus general grounds maintenance.

Additionally LanGuard VM can provide a Wildflower planting, Habitat creation and Reed bed planting services.
