Integrated Weed Control

Integrated Weed Control is a term for a strategy to reduce our reliance herbicides to provide weed control by incorporating alternative methods, such as design and mechanical, into a weed control programme.

Traditional integrated weed control programmes have been used in agricultural crop production but on amenity hard surfaces there are far fewer factors to employ.

LanGuard VM were the contractors involved in the Thanet Weed Project, so have first hand experience of non-chemical and integrated weed control in UK urban environments.
